Date: 5-April-2006 Air Cruisers Expands its STC product lineAir Cruisers received STC approval for their latest generation AS350 / AS355 Emergency Flotation System. This new EFS incorporates the OEM floats (provided by Aerazur) and a pneumatically activated Inflation system (patent pending) instead of electrical activation. The new system provides pilots with an ergonomically designed trigger installed on the primary flight control. Pilots no longer have to inflate two valves manually using cables and cable splitters. Both valves are easily pneumatically deployed. Air Cruisers’ latest design eliminates the potential inadvertent deployment of a mechanically activated dual valve system which can occur when a mechanic accidentally pulls or hits an exposed cable on the manual system. The full system kit includes all parts, instructions and documentation needed for the installation which can be performed by the operator or maintenance center. The inflation reservoirs are delivered already charged so there is no requirement for any special inflation equipment to perform the installation. The STC kit is available for AS350 B, B1, B2, B3, AND BA models and AS355 F1, F2 and N Models.
