Serving the Aviation Industry since 1935
In 1935, company founder James F. Boyle began Air Cruisers. Prior to World War II, he invented the inflatable life jacket called the "Mae West." Since then, virtually every significant development in the field of aviation inflatable safety technology has come from Air Cruisers.
We produced the first one-person life raft, the first inflatable life vests, the first vacuum packed inflatable life vest, the first inflatable aircraft evacuation slides and slide rafts, the first helicopter fixed floats and the first helicopter pop-out inflatable floats. With over 60 years of innovative ideas and experience, Air Cruisers remains the industry standard for aviation inflatable safety technology.
Air Cruisers is the only company that offers a complete line of inflatable safety products: evacuation slides and slide rafts, life vests, life rafts and helicopter floats. All of our products are supported by our worldwide sales and service network with the additional support of our factory based engineering staff and factory trained technicians.
Since 1987, AirCruisers has been a subsidiary of the Zodiac Groupe of Paris, France, best known as the leading manufacturer of inflatable boats. The merger provided synergy for both companies that strengthened both companies' positions in their respective markets.
Air Cruisers achieved a milestone accomplishment by receiving Boeing's 1997 Presidents Award for excellence. Of all Boeing's suppliers, only six were awarded this honor. This again affirms our dedication to the aviation industry and our customer base.
Our goal is not just to meet out customer's requirements, but to exceed them. We hope you'll let us show you what we are capable of.
